The state of Illinois’ driving under the influence prevention classes – also called Illinois DUI Risk Education – are required to address specific subject areas during a mandatory minimum of 10 hours of classes. After finishing the minimum 10 hours of Illinois DUI Risk Education classes, a test will be administered. To successfully pass the test, a score of at least 75 percent is required.
