Aisling Conaty, Clinical Marriage and Family Therapy Intern

About Aisling

“Ego says, once everything falls into place, I’ll feel peace. Spirit says, find your peace, and then everything will fall into place.”

I am working towards completing my Master’s Degree in Family Counseling at Northeastern Illinois University and I currently hold a degree in Psychology from Illinois State University. I specialize in working with couples and families, using a Solution-Focused approach that is individualized for each unit.

Oftentimes we communicate but do not say what we mean and we listen but do not hear what we are being told. My aim is to create an environment that is open and supportive- geared towards increasing self awareness and empowering those that I work with to be able to discover both individual and relational strengths. Utilizing a straightforward approach, I will help to conceptualize common goals and work to give you the tools that you will need to achieve long lasting, sustainable growth.

In addition to working with couples and families, I also work with individuals struggling with mental health issues, life stressors and adjustment periods. I offer a sliding scale for payments so that you can afford the care that you need.
