Neurofeedback

Experience a drug-free solution that helps correct brainwave imbalances that are often associated with conditions like:

-Focus and attention disorders.
-Chronic pain and mental stress.
-Sleep disorders.
-Memory loss.
-Negative moods.

Our Practice

Neurofeedback, now available from the professional staff at Bellosa Counseling, involves the use of EEG (electroencephalogram) testing equipment to recognize problems and find effective solutions. Instead of using a multi-sensor cap, the process uses two small sensors that are applied to preset spots with a clip on the client’s earlobes.

This process allows the professional therapist or counselor to read the frequency of areas that occur across the brain. Similar to a weather map showing changes in temperatures, this information shows brain frequencies and which areas might be contributing to the symptoms affecting the client.

The Bellosa team reviews the unique results of this “brain mapping” with the client. In the event that an imbalance of brain frequency is detected, we’ll advise what neurofeedback protocols are appropriate to improve health and wellness.
