About Christine

Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults and families with over 10 years of experience. My focus is to provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere in order to help individuals improve their lives through education, insight and change.

I emphasize the importance of a highly personalized approach, tailored to each of my client’s individual needs, in order to attain positive growth. I practice a variety of treatment options including cognitive behavioral therapy, structured teaching, relaxation training and couple/family therapy techniques. Areas of focus I have special training and experience includes: Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder with and without Hyperactivity, anxiety disorders, social skills issues, school/behavioral issues, as well as parent/child conflict resolution.

I also work with individuals who are dealing with general mental illness, depression, stress management, adjustment disorders, substance abuse, parenting & life skills, and relationship issues. Besides private practice, I have had experience in various settings such as hospital behavioral health (in-patient & out-patient/PHP), Autism Resource Agency, residential treatment, various school settings, and state youth corrections. I am a member in good standing with The Illinois Counseling Association and The Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association.
