Mackenzie Bailey, BS
Therapist Intern

About Mackenzie
Hello! My name is Mackenzie Bailey, and I am a therapist intern here at Bellosa Counseling. I believe in living authentically and experiencing life with all its ups and downs – however, this can be challenging, especially with mental health struggles and the general overwhelming-ness that life tends to be. Maybe that’s where you’re at now. And that’s okay. My intention is that when you are ready to start the therapy journey, I can be by your side and help you grow, learn, and heal.
I believe in using a unique approach to best suit your goals and personality. I integrate aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy, strength-based approaches, and humanistic styles to work with you to provide empowerment, effective collaboration, and a safe environment for compassionate care and personal growth.
I take an honest approach to therapy – I believe in humanity, the strength of individuals, the importance of community, and most importantly, the ability to change and grow.
Areas of Expertise:
- Anxiety and emotional regulation
- Depression and mood disorders
- Life transitions and stress
- Self-esteem and identity development
- Family or caretaker burnout
- Suicidal ideation and seflf-harm
Populations I work with:
- Individuals
- Families
- Adults
- Young Adults & Teens
- Adolescents
- Children
Outside of the office and school work, I love spending time with all my animals (two dogs and two cats), engaging in a wide variety of crafty activities (you name it, I’ve probably got all the supplies, done it once, and then never picked it up again), and babysitting (which is surprisingly energizing to me).
When you are ready to start the therapeutic process, please reach out to schedule a phone consultation; I hope to work with you soon. Taking the first step is the hardest step, but I believe in your strength and ability.
